That’s why we’re rounding up the best of the best in farmers markets – so you can give yourself a little pat on the back for supporting the local community while enjoying some seriously fresh produce.

Here’s our pick of the top farmers markets in our area.

Helensvale Farmers Market
Supporting local farmers with organic and conventional produce, gourmet food stalls and handcrafted creations, the Helensvale Farmers Market are the market at the northern end of the Gold Coast.

Bundall Farmers Markets
This popular market – located at HOTA on a Sunday – has everything you need to stock up for the week, as well as plenty of tasty breakfast options to boot.

Burleigh Farmers Markets
The Burleigh Farmers Markets host a variety of stalls including produce, homemade preserves, ceramics, clothing, flowers and handsome bric-a-brac.
Located at Burleigh Heads State School every Saturday from 6:30am – 12pm. Find out more here >

Palm Beach Farmers Markets
One of the originals and still one of the best. Located at PBC High on a Saturday, the Palm Beach Farmers Markets are a feast for the senses with fresh produce, meat, fish, delicious breakfast options, and great wares.

Currumbin Community Markets
A very community-oriented bunch (the name kind of gives it away), the Currumbin Community Markets are your best bet to pick up some tasty fruit and veg during the week. Held every Thursday opposite Currumbin RSL, these markets cater to families, with drawing activities and toys for the kids, live music and general good times. Your next stop for a mid-week play date.

Mullum Farmers Market
If you live south of the border, then the Mullum Farmers Markets are the place to go. Named as one of the top three markets in Australia in the 2019 Delicious Produce Awards, these markets are a gathering spot for the area’s vibrant community.

New Brighton Farmers Market
Another mid-week market, the New Brighton Farmers Markets are a food lover’s dream. Hosted every Tuesday at a beautiful riverside location, you can get everything you need here including seasonal produce, sourdough bread, eggs, cheese, nuts, honey and much more.
