A new kind of comfort zone

Rachael Reid from Her Supercar Life gets behind the wheel and puts the all new C-Class Sedan to the test.

The all-new C-Class Sedan has equal parts comfort and sportiness.

With its standard AMG body kit, it certainly looks like the epitome of a sports sedan.

As you climb into the driver’s cockpit, you are immediately confronted by an array of innovative comfort highlights designed to make your driving experience relaxed and enjoyable.

I simply loved the interior space and was surprised to be surrounded by this level of smart comfort functions in a C-Class, but clearly Mercedes-Benz have gone out of their way to impress fans of the brand in what is their most popular model for many years.

The seating and internal comforts are designed to reduce your workload and help make your drive in the all-new C-Class a relaxing one.

The multimedia control system MBUX, is constantly learning and is always adapting to you and your preferences.

Once set, the front seats remember individualised settings for up to three people. The profiles can easily be selected and changed at any time.

It was great to hit the road in the latest model from the Mercedes-Benz team, and I was rapt with the size and feel of the steering wheel, which was downright race worthy.

I decided to head west from the coast for a tour of our beautiful hinterland through the winding roads of Tallebudgera Creek.

The all new C-Class handles beautifully, purring effortlessly through the meandering turns of the valley.

With the panoramic sunroof, the interior space allows for excellent light and vision from within the vehicle.

The generous space concept within the all-new C-Class gives passengers in the rear even more legroom than before.

The all new C-Class is powerful and efficient with the C 200 Sedan pulling 150 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque, and the C 300 Sedan, which I had the pleasure of testing, a slightly stronger 190 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque.

Overall, the all new C-Class is as smooth, sporty and comfortable as it looks, offering a truly relaxing and comfortable driving experience for fans of this popular model.
