Nestled in the nook of Miami, Kira & Kira boasts a ravishing range of enviable furniture,delicate interior objects and works of art by Australian artists and designers.

But what you may not know is that the husband and wife duo behind the store also handcraft a stunning range of bespoke furniture – the likes of which are featured in many of the most Instagrammable homes and architectural projects throughout Australia and overseas.

Grason and Simone Kira are driven by a passion for thoughtful and sustainable design, valuing true craftmanship.

Their collection is inspired by the ever-popular mid-century modern aesthetic, celebrating functionality, clean lines and beautiful finishes.

Each piece is handmade from start to finish in their Burleigh Heads workshop by Grason – and built to last a lifetime.

The couple gave their own family home a complete makeover, with the process featuring on Channel 9’s Ready, Set, Reno – documenting the couple’s eight-month renovation journey.

All trades utilised on the build and landscaping of The Kira House were through local businesses, and the finished product is a showcase of their own range of furniture, vintage treasures and select pieces stocked within their own store.

Simone says it has been an amazing experience to fill their own home with the brands the couple are passionate about.

“Each item in our home resonates with us as we love to support local and we hold such a strong relationship with our suppliers,” says Simone.

“Our home tells a story – one we are proud of.”

Based on their knowledge of the industry coupled with impeccable taste, Kira & Kira have called upon their design and furniture resources to branch out with a personal interior styling service.

Covering a broad array of design aesthetics, they focus on creating timeless commercial and residential spaces that are unique and innovative.

Kira & Kira offer a range of interior services such as concept design, spatial planning, fit-out and installation, and furniture selections and procurement.

The couple also recently bought a Mercedes-Benz 114 SWB Vito Van, to assist with the furniture design and build arm of their business.

Kira & Kira can be found along the Gold Coast highway opposite Miami One Shopping Centre.
